Atlantic Canada’s premier paranormal symposium returns to Halifax for two full days of education, discussion, and immersive experiences exploring the unexplained.

Hosted by Paranormal Phenomena Research & Investigation (PPRI), the Halifax Paranormal Symposium brings together researchers, investigators, experiencers, and curious minds for a professionally curated event focused on real cases, research, lived experiences, evidence-based discussion, and respectful exploration of paranormal phenomena.

Dr. Heather Lynn will be speaking on Evil Archaeology: How Demons, Witchcraft, and Possession Shaped Civilization.

She will examine how major civilizations—from Mesopotamia to medieval Europe—developed formal systems for identifying, classifying, and confronting what they understood as evil, embedding demonology into law, medicine, and political power.
