Meet Dr. Heather Lynn
Dr. Heather Lynn is a historian, educator, and "renegade archaeologist" whose work focuses on the mechanisms by which human history is recorded, forgotten, and rediscovered. Unlike traditional historians who focus solely on chronology, Heather’s research is interdisciplinary, blending archaeology, information technology, and comparative religion to explore how symbolic systems—from ancient Sumerian cuneiform to modern technologies like AI—shape our understanding of reality.
The Academic Journey
Heather’s intellectual journey began in traditional archaeology and information technology, with an AA in Archaeology (Cuyahoga Community College), a BA in IT and Anthropology (Southern New Hampshire University), and an MA in History. She earned her Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.), focused on museum education, from the University of New England. Her doctoral research at UNE examined the computer-mediated communication of history museums, specifically how institutions use technology to curate cultural memory. This background provides her with a critical lens on narrative control, including how societies decide which artifacts are celebrated and which are labeled anomalous or forbidden. Heather also completed doctoral studies in Comparative Religion through the University of Sedona (ecclesiastical/metaphysical program). She serves as an adjunct professor of Humanities and is the Museum Director for a historical society in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Cognitive Archaeology and the Occult
Often described as a renegade archaeologist, Heather left the traditional institutional path to apply the framework of Cognitive Archaeology to the unexplained. She utilizes a Jungian conceptual framework to analyze ancient myths, iconography, and the occult not just as folklore, but as early expressions of human consciousness. Her work explores the psychological and sociological impacts of "contact," whether that contact is defined as ancient deities, discarnate entities, or the emerging intelligence of AI.
Current Focus: The Intersection of Deep Past and Near Future
Heather’s work has pivoted toward the relationship between ancient ascended knowledge and modern transhumanism. Her latest research, culminating in her newest book The Anunnaki Revelation, moves past the standard ancient astronaut debate to ask a more sophisticated question: How did ancient encounters with gods influence the development of sacred arts like acoustics, geometry, and alchemy, and how are those same patterns manifesting in today’s pursuit of longevity and artificial intelligence? What is the role of AI in archaeology and history?
Media and Public Impact
As an independent researcher and media figure, she produces The H-Files on Substack, an investigative dossier series examining artifacts, suppressed histories, and cultural memory. She hosts The Midnight Academy, a growing podcast ranked in the top 10% globally, where she interviews leading thinkers in archaeology, history, science, spirituality, and alternative research.
A frequent guest on History Channel's Ancient Aliens and paranormal radio shows and podcasts like Coast to Coast AM, Earth Ancients with Cliff Dunning, Fade to Black with Jimmy Church, and The Higherside Chats with Greg Carlwood, Heather's voice has resonated with international audiences seeking grounded, intelligent alternatives to both mainstream academic gatekeeping and sensationalized clickbait. Her bestselling books, including The Anunnaki Connection, Baphomet Revealed, and Evil Archaeology, have been translated into multiple languages and challenged conventional narratives worldwide. Her latest, Anunnaki Revelation, traces humanity's secret relationship with advanced knowledge—through plant medicine and psychedelics—from Sumerian god-kings to Silicon Valley tech giants, asking the question no one wants to answer: Who's really in control?
